In our proposal we’ll prepare an estimate: the design project cost plus an approximate itemized implementation budget. You see the full picture before any work begins.

The design project takes 3 months; implementation (renovation) takes 5–6 months depending on the area and scope of work. For a 70 m² apartment, the typical timeline is 8–9 months from signing the contract to moving in. We draw up a schedule with milestones for every project.

Can you work with me if I live in another country?

Yes — this is already a significant share of our projects. There are two formats: 1. The apartment is in a location where we run implementation ourselves, and you are elsewhere. We run the project fully remotely: video meetings, photo reports, video walkthroughs of the site. You don’t have to fly in at all. 2. Both you and the apartment are in another country. We create the design project online, hand it over to your local crew and, if needed, support them remotely via photos and videos. You or your site manager run the implementation — we stay on as architects and quality control.

Yes, you can start with the design project and launch implementation later — in a month, six months or a year. The project doesn’t “expire”. Many clients do exactly that — plan first, then start the renovation when they’re financially ready.

Do I need a permit to change the layout?

It depends on the country and the building. In new builds, layout changes often need only the approval of the owners’ association; listed or historic buildings may require heritage approval. We’ll tell you what applies to your property at the design stage, and on projects we implement ourselves, we handle the paperwork.
